STAMFORD –The Franklin Street Community Health Center Inc. and Neighbors Link Stamford are co-hosting a health and wellness education workshop at Neighbors Link on Selleck Street today.
Until 4:30 p.m. today, clinical providers will be on hand at Neighbors Link to provide medical consulting and care in a bilingual environment. CHC’s mobile dental unit will be equipped to provide teeth cleaning and sealing to about 16 children and 8 adults over the course of the day, according to a news release from Neighbors Link.
Other services offered include glucose testing, blood pressure screenings and electronic vision testing. CHC medical staff will also be available to provide literature and answer questions on topics such as STDs, nutrition, diabetes, hypertension and access to health care services.
Health and Wellness Day is happening now until 4:30 p.m. at Neighbors Link Stamford, 75 Selleck Street.
